1. What were you doing ten years ago?
Okay, how old am I? I swear it starts to blur after about 24. I was working at Borders Books and Music which was one of my all time favorite jobs ever and in about a week a goofy guy from Texas is going to walk in and talk to me without asking me out. Luckily he came back about two weeks later. Hold on, that would have been the year after. Oh no, I think ten years ago I was about to graduate high school. I was an old senior.
2. Five things on my to-do list today?
Call insurance guys about the house we are trying to buy
Try not to yell at my kids while on the phone with insurance guys
Try to do some homeschooling with Eliora so I don't feel like one of 'those' homeschool moms
clean up cause my mom is coming in tomorrow but in actuality I know I will spend most of this time nursing the baby
Make dinner before a whole group of family gets here since Ben decided to invite the family over the night before my mom comes in. (I really didn't mind, they are fun)
3.What snacks do you enjoy?
dark chocolate
tea (herbal!) with cream and sugar (I should have been British)
a slice of sharp cheese or Parmesan on a cracker
a fruit smoothie
4. What would you do if you suddenly became a billionaire?
I actually think about this right before falling to sleep at night. I would pay off everyone's debts and set them all up for life (anonymously). Set my kids up for things like college and their first house but without them knowing it was coming. Go to culinary school and learn to cook delicious and tantilizing foods. Travel, travel, travel absolutely everywhere.
5. Three bad habits
This one is gross so skip it if you feel woozy. I don't bite my fingernails but I tend to bite the skin around my nails. Kind of weird, I know.
Thinking about evil little comments I would like to tell the next person who asks me how many more kids I am going to have or letting me know I am going to have my hands full with four girls. Taking my husband for granted. He really is awesome.
6. Five places I've lived
California
Utah
Texas
Yeah, I'm boring but I have travelled a lot!
7. Five jobs I've had
A hooker at KenCraft Candy (No, it is not that, it is the person who bends the candy canes into their cute little hooks)
Borders Books where I earned employee of the year for the states of Utah, Idaho, and three others I don't remember (really, I loved that job)
WolfeKrest Bed and Breakfast (I cleaned the rooms, yuck...it was owned by Karl Malone's wife and he use to come in - he is really tall.....)
Saturday Manager at the Utah History Museum gift shop (another one I loved)
Cleaning houses. See I do know how to clean, I just don't like to...
8. Five things people don't know about me.
I talk to my brother Dustin at least five times a week for about a half hour, sometimes more, sometimes less....he doesn't even charge.
I use to drink the pickle juice out of the pickle jar. Sometimes I am still tempted.
I have a calcium bump on my right wrist. It disappears if my hand is straight but you can see it if my hand is bent. I have had it since I was in junior high.
I have a reaccuring dream where I am standing on a cliff and the ocean is below me. It always feels like the time right before a storm. I started having it in elementary school and have it again every few years. Does anyone out there analyze dreams?
Sometimes in the middle of the day I sneak a candy into my room, lock the door, grab a book, and tell my kids that I am changing and I will be out in a minute.
I think it would be fun to hear the answers to these questions from Ridings, Tews, Vasquez, Terry, Audrey
