Music
I have been trying to exercise more lately plus we are leaving in three weeks for Utah so I have been trying to get my house deep cleaned before we go. Of course this means I need some good music to get me up and motivated. I haven't listened to anything in a long while except Primary songs, classical, and Miss Stacy. Anyone have any really good suggestions? What are your favorite songs? So far I have got a lot of stuff from the Shrek movies (hey, they have good songs!), Staying Alive, I will survive, Respect, One Week by Bare Naked Ladies, Just a Girl byNo Doubt, Viva La Vida by Cold Play, Mr. Jones by Counting Crows, How's It Going Be byThird Eye Blind, Unwrittenby Bedingfield, and It's Not my Time byThree Doors Down. (Can you tell when I went to high school?) I think I need some that have a little more of a beat. Come on people....my house is at stake here!

Credence Clear Water Revival: can you tell when I went to High School?
Actually for cleaning the house I like the sound track for Stardust, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, and StarWars. It is amazing how much mood music gets your adrenaline going and how much you get done. Try it, I just down loaded them to my itunes, (actually stole them off Ryan's; he has such good taste) and wala, you are cleaning the attic (I can put that cause we don't really have an attic to clean.
Not sure why but seeing your comment reminded me of footloose. Bout time my girls grew up to 'hear it for the boys' and 'I need a hero'! Then we have the whole Bon Jovi we use to listen too! (And yes, I would love to just come download Ryan's) Oh, now I'm thinking of Life's a Highway....
Kent and I are going through a Taylor Swift phase. Just this weekend we were talking about how we love the innocence and freshness in her lyrics. When it comes to cleaning house though, I blast either Gary Allen or Fleetwood Mac.
I just put together a really fun (and upbeat) song list that lasts about two hours. I'll send you a list of some new artists to try out!
Hurray for coming to UTAH!!
Queen! The Beatles! Turn on 92.9 .. you will love it.. YOu know you will.
Try Mixi. She has one song called I miss those days, you can look her up on youtube.
I really like The Killers. Try anything on their "Sawdust" album or their newest one or "Sam's Town". Upbeat....Also try The Aquabats. I've been listening to alot of Tom Petty and a band called the Toadies, they are pretty heavy though. If you like more techno sounding music try, Passion Pit. The Pixies are always good too. Arcade Fire is awesome too and I think you would like a new band called The Decemberists, they have a really light happy sound and are awesome. And lastly, you can't go wrong with Ben Folds Five. Oh, and I almost forgot Bregelle's two favorites, Of Montreal and Flogging Molly (Irish pub sounding music). Ok, I think I'm done.
I just remembered one I wanted to tell you about. Look up "Ok Go" on you tube, they have great videos! They sound radical too.
