This is a whole day late. You would have thought Whitney's birthday is the one family day I would remember (well, after Terry's) seeing as how it is the day after I got married. In my very small defense however I do forget our anniversary half the time. The first time I met Whitney she told me told me she was a hobbit (not sure if she remembers that). I knew we would get along.
This one made me laugh since I saw her roll her sleeves up in the exact same way last week while hiking.
So, in celebration of Whitney week please feel free to post your favorite Whitney memory. Love ya Whit!

The first time I met Whitney she looked across the table and said in a proud voice "I'm Stupid" I sat there in silence for a moment then continued with my conversation with Ben.
So taken out of context. Thanks Tonia for doing this you're awesome!
My favorite Whitney memory is the great white hamster- that tried to bite and eat everyone in site- or the time she ran between the Secret Service and tripped President G.H.W. Bush! Always there being awesome
Ben
Hmmmm... favorite memory? Hmmm...
Maybe the time Katie and Tyler and I were fighting and Katie went to hit me with the wooden stool (or was it Tyler) and we ducked and she hit Whitney in the mouth and she had to get stitches.
Or maybe the time when Ben was spinning her around the living room by her feet and smacked her into the corner of the wood coffee table and left a traingle shaped spot on her forehead.
Or maybe when Tyler did a handstand and kicked her in the face.
Or the time we locked her in Tyler's trunk and slid it down the stairs..
Why did Mom EVER leave her alone with us?
And you wonder why she doesn't trust you anymore?
One of my favorite memories of Whitney is when I was on the floor working on a project and needing a hammer. I looked up to see where it was and Whitney was already handing it to me. She did that all the time, anticipated what I would need and have it ready. It made my job so much easier and everything went quicker which I really, REALLY appreciated. Wanted to hug/squeeze her tight and kiss her all over her face but didn't cause she wouldn't have liked it and I didn't want to lose such good help.
My earliest memory of Whitney....wait you don't want to hear that one. I'll spare you the details...instead I'll tell that I couldn't believe I had another absolutely gorgeous baby. Is one person really entitled to six?
May you have many more birthdays, Whitney!
