Daddy Daughter Dates

My girls love daddy daughter dates. I'm with them 24/7 but every couple of weeks something comes up and they get to go with just their Dad.

Sometimes the two older ones get to go together

 These can be as simple as a trip to the hardware store or a walk two blocks away to the ice cream shop. Sometimes they are out to a movie, a nice dinner, or a sporting event. Sometimes they dress up and get all ready. He opens their door, lets them pick the music on the radio, or just listens to them talk.

Eliora has been to a hockey game, Audrey has been to the movies, Sadie loves the ice cream dates, and Abbey just loves riding in the truck. Sometimes it's a phone call on the way home from work asking which one needs some alone time. I get their shoes, sneak them out the front door and they jump in the truck as Dad drives by. It might just be for 5 minutes as he drops something off for his church calling or gives the missionaries a ride but somehow it's special when it is with Dad.
